Founded in 1984 by Kaylee Beal and Margrit Adams, Beal, Blakeman & Smither, CPAs (BBS) is an accounting firm specializing in small business as well as personal tax assistance needs.
Cheryl Smither
Cheryl Smither started at Kaylee Beal, CPA in 1988 as an accounting clerk. After several years she decided it was time to get her degree – completing her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and becoming partner in 1995. In 2005 she and Diana Blakeman decided to buy out the remainder interest creating Beal, Blakeman & Smither CPAs. Cheryl focuses her talents on assisting companies with their financial and tax reporting.
Diana Blakeman
After 13 years of success as the CFO of a large not-for-profit organization, Diana Blakeman decided to challenge herself once again by joining Cheryl Smither in buying out the firm, creating Beal, Blakeman and Smither, CPAs in 2005. With a passion for helping others, Diana works to provide the best service and expertise in assisting clients achieve their small business goals, or sort out their personal taxes.
Glenda Torbert
Glenda Torbert joined Beal, Blakeman & Smither CPAs in 2005 after working with Diana Blakeman at the not-for-profit for over 13 years. Seeing the talent, service and tenacity Glenda possesses, she was a natural choice to complete the firm. Glenda keeps the office moving and is the face of BBS. When you walk in the door she always greets you with a smile and can assist with payroll, tax and accounting needs.
